Airbag problems

Hi All from sunny South Africa
On this forum it was mentioned that you must replace the side impact sensors, airbags, pretensioners and computer. Where is the side impact sensors on a clio II 1.2 16v and can i use a second hand computer from a car where none of the airbags or pretensioners went of.:dapprove:

Side impact sensors can stay. Nope, you can't use a airbag computer from another car as each individual one is coded to the multiplex system of the car.

Renault will want to replace the computer which costs silly money to do, when I had a little fo par and triggered an airbag I sent my computer here to have its memory erased. Never had any problems with it, came back good as new.
