Cheers, thats a bit pricey, I know it includes the stalk but the ring itself is only £100 from the dealer iirc

Yeah very expensive, this guy might be worth an email though.

Need one from a CC car though, since i am trying to get the cruise working atm.

I might just send it into renault and let them sort, getting fed up of it now. I just hate paying their diagnostic charge  Dont mind paying for labour and parts but the fact they charge so much for 5 minutes hooked up to a computer really pisses me off.

Yeah that looks like what you need.

Has the car been to Renault previously? My CC doesn't work currently, but I now know why

Never been to renault while ive had it but it does have fsh mostly from renault, apart from the bonnet recall which i took it in for 2 months ago.

So far ive replaced both pedal switches, and ive tried a new map. Now I just have this to try and if it doesn't work i'll stick my new wheel on incase i have a dodgy button.

If i'd have gone to renault from day one it would be sorted by now, and probably for less.

Does it not work at all?
Do you get the SET---- display on the dash when you press the dash switch?
Does the green dial light illuminate?

I get the green light, and the set----. But the buttons do nothing at all.

It has worked once, last week. For the full journey but then didnt work after that.

Very strange.

Might sound stupid this but have you ever had anything done to your brake lights? I've found out through various means that the CC continually monitors the brake light circuit and if it detects a fault (blown bulb or similar) it will disable the cruise.

Mine doesn't work as I have LED rear bulbs which offer no resistance, therefore the computer thinks the bulbs have blown.

Weird how it worked once though.

I'm pretty confident on the slip rings, we have big issues with them at work and try to avoid putting any control through them.

The wheel is staying until ive tried it though.
