Well i'm never selling it unless i'm forced to at gunpoint, so that wont be an issue ;)

But yeah, they are supposed to do that, the PF '97 Carbon Metallic brake pads generate a lot of heat, and thats just the bits of hot metal from the pad and disc flying off. Looks pretty spectacular but not harming the car in any way, apart from the layer of brake dust on the wheels.

Cheers for the comments guys. I had a great day, probably my favourite day out so far despite the iffy weather, always a good laugh even though I wasn't competing. Will be adding a few more pics to the galleries later.

just washed the mud off the vee....noticed a long black line on the nearside skirt!! must have got a bit too close to one of them tractor tyres....lol


can i just add ...if that turns out to be the last airfield day then i hope you have all enjoyed the experience...i know i have...and it has been my pleasure to meet, race against you all and organise the events.

Its been fantastic, huge thanks for organising them all. Been to 3 myself, one driving in October and the last two taking pictures. Had a great time at all of them but it was a fitting ending yesterday, the best I've been to, hard to explain why though.

Lets hope if that is it then we can still do something similar every now and again, maybe the Haynes place will be our new refuge?

Cheers for all the kind comments guys (and girl), glad they came out ok. Managed to publish 180 of 400 which is a pretty good ratio I think, the rest are either blurred or the car is out of shot!
