How good is the standard alarm and immobiliser on a Clio 172 mk2 ph2?

Is it Thatcham approved?

  BMW M135i
Its a CAT2 transponder immobilser which is rather good, and if its got an alarm fitted its a cobra CAT2->1 jobbie and its passable.
