might aswell have a blast yourself as it could save you loads, there are a few that you can send your wheel away to and they have a 3 day turn around

just contacted those two. MRM said 70-80 per wheel. citi coachworks said 40ish per wheel and they could do it in a day or two.

I found MRM way too expensive for work i was getting done. Citi were very reasonable and they did a really good job. Plus they (or at least they did) give you a free wash and valet.

There is a place in Glasgow called Recoat who i'd recommend. My friend paid £25 a wheel (17 inch) to get rid of a lots of scratches and kerb marks and also have done in a different colour. The end result was very impressive.

When hubby scraped one of my wheels on the rare occasion he drove my car, I happened to mention it to a salesman at the Edinburgh dealer out Corstorphine way and hubby's car was due a service soon afterwards. I was told that if his car was booked in on the day their 'wheel refurbisher' vistited, they would slip my wheel in with their wheels, which is what happened and for £25 it was as good as new and I couldn't see where it was repaired or painted.

The guy who does the wheels is an independent refurbisher who vists several car dealers so why don't you ask around your Edinburgh garages and see if they have a wheel guy like Eastern BMW do and they might do yours for cash! The proper price is probably around £40 a wheel but I was lucky (they probably added it to hubby's service bill)!!
