Hello Matt welcome to CS.
Nice lookin' car for the money btw.

thanks, hoping to get a few things sorted first before i do any mods to it, if i even do anything. Not really worth it on this, might wait till next year until insurance comes down abit with no claims *fingers crossed*

Gunna clean up the few dents and little bit of rust on the right rear arch, then get it sprayed and colour coded.
Was think about going all black... what do you think?
Some nice but cheapish alloys aswel, any suggestions?

Welcome, from another newb.
I'd say thats 400 quid well spent if it runs well.
Like you said build up your insurance but if you want to put alloy wheels on it get some valver turbines. I wouldnt bother colour coding unless you find some cheap bumpers already c/coded at the factory (try breakers yards) as the cost of the wheels with decent tyres and getting bumpers sprayed will prob cost you a similar amount to what the car cost you.
