Another Valver Problem

The latest problem now is that its decided to start idling at 2.5k, which is really annoying as it started this morning while i was stuck in traffic on the M25, thought it was blow up lol. Any ideas??

not a sticky throttle already checked that, will check the idle speed valve even though i cleaned ti not too long ago.

Give the iscv another clean & report back.

yep 100% idle control valve they get sticky

if it still does it after u cleaned it jus take it out all together and take the car for a run, it should idle normally after that until u get a new 1.

hey, cheers for the help lads, just had a look now and what had happened was the power connector had managed to wobble its self off. I just plugged it back in and all is good again.

Nice one. Cleaned my ISCV today. Nice and smoooooooooooth, was quite dirty actually. Surprising really.
