Anthracite colour



im refurbing my wheels and im wondering whats the best shade you guys have used?

im not wanting them to be 2 dark but a nice shade

suggestions please

look good,did you do them yourself?how did you manage to do the lip without marking any other part of the wheel?just taped it up?

yep did them my self,i flatted the rim untill it was bare metal then got the wheels ready for paint then using fine line tape i masked around the edges and taped them off,then polished using metal polish.

no mate because the laquer will just flake off,bare alloy needs etch primer so that would be defeating the object

how do wheel manufacturers keep there polished wheels like they do form factory?sorry for so many q's and mikey sorry for robbing your thread :eek:

i also used that rover stone grey to paint my door badges, close as u wil get to anthracite
 
tbh the ford colour looks a bit to dark for what i would like, but that rover colour looks like the colour im after, any pics in daylight of what they look like on the car?
