any ideas guys?! very anoying

driving today to work, no music on for a change, and i noticed quite an anoying like, ''woooring'' or humming cuming from one of the wheels, well i think its the wheels, it stays at the same anoying pitch aswell, just hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm untill i come to a stop! any ideas what this could be??

Changes pitch at different speeds? Front or Rear? Try *weaving* see if loading either side of the car makes it louder/quieter. Possibly a bearing?

it goes louder when i go faster i guess, just stays at same pitch though, just hmmmmmmmmmm lol i'll try weaving around later but it seems to have got worrse in the last week cos only now ivw noticed it

is it the half tonne lumps that moves the car by chance Could be wind over the wing mirrors. Best not to turn down the music in a clio, you'll get paranoid so easily

i know, its so anoying, from what my mates were saything, they think its a wheel bearing but i dont know which side its cuming from, front or back :S how much are these to replace anyone know?

did a wheel bearing on my sisters 1.4 clio (mk2) the other day, cost £20 for the bearing from APD, and took about an hour. did involve a lot of cussing tho, as the old bearing was a paint in the arse to get out

Its fairly likely to be the a wheel bearing. They make a helluva racket when they get really bad. I had 2 go on mine within the first 3 months of buying the car.
