I miss my RB, it's the only colour to have on a 182. They should of kept monaco and flame red for the 182 IMO.

  Titanium 182
I looked for ages but couldn't find one. I think the grey cupped wheels look better on BG anyway though

IIRC Pauls LY 182 is up for sale.. or will be shortly?

Sack RB, his LY is mint! Paints in perfect condition as he's heavily into his detailing!

LY is awesome. If you're a girl... it's too glittery IMO. Sunflower is ok, since it's a solid colour. Just... ;)

Edit: Hi, Wing Commander.

I love sunflower, just not sure I could own one. My sexuality's confused enough with out a girly coloured car.

Depends what you're doing to the car. If you're changing the seats (which every RS owner should IMO) all you missing out on is Xenon's, which are piss poor on the 1*2's and cost a fortune of they fail.
For the price of a FF182 you could get a cup and some better seats.

You've also got the higher insurance, yeh I intend on putting some recaro's in there and stripping it then flocking it like a dirty ***** but id just rather have the FF version to begin with

If you're stripping it fella, why go FF? Insurance is identical for the 182ff and 182cup??

Ive heard its more?

What do you loose on the cup then? Just washers and climate control (and obviously seats) ?

Whats the difference in options though?

When I say strip I dont mean ripping out every piece of material in the car, just mean strip the rear

Seats are different, no xenons, normal steering wheel, no climate control (air con though), thats about it I think.

The cup loses climate (but you still get AC), xenons (as said they are poor on the 1*2 anyway), cloth interior (not an issue if you're changing seats/stripping), and you get a different steering wheel. I've had 5 RS's, and the steering wheel on the 182 cup was actually the nicest to use. Smaller diameter and a smaller rim, and no rubber to melt/disintegrate.
Same insurance group as you keep ABS (unlike the 172cup).

If you weren't altering the interior I'd go for FF, but for your purposes (especially given that RB is common on cups) the 182 cup should suit you better. It's hardly poverty spec, you still get AC, ESP, cruise etc.

I'd much rather have A/C over climate, especially given how little I use it. The steering wheel is a bonus and other than that there are no real downsides to owning a cup...unless you really want poncy leather seats?
