I am wondering do they have to write your mods on your insurance certificate, as if I claim its my word against theirs.

So are you saying that your mods arn't on your policy print out/schedule?? :S

Exactly that, I was waiting 4 weeks after i declared my viper and smt6 and all they sent me was a normal looking insurance certificate.

im with frizzell and theres no mention of my alloys that i declared on there. they just sent a new certificate that started the day i declared them til the end of teh policy, big waste of time and paper!

Cheers for that Dave .. I am presuming that the mods go on the policy/documents if you declare them when you first take out the insurance :S

I phoned up to add my ktec exhaust the other day and I didnt have to pay for it. Something is a little fishy.....

I am concidering insuring with Greenlight this year and that is why I posted this thread .. my insurance renewal with Tesco is £800 and with Greenlight it is £500 and something iirc.. and I just wanted to get peoples views on how Greenlight have dealt with claims etc...

I'm with Greenlight again this year, not had any claims though but in general they've always been really quick with any paperwork.

Maz - another bonus is that they do cheaper track day insurance if you are insured with them

Mods I declared to Privilege weren't included on certificate/schedule etc. I phoned up to query and they said it was on their system so didn't need to be on the schedule.

maz, theres quite a few guys on the CTR forum with greenlight i think? if you post on there, there will be replies and i think neil checks that one more often too, by the looks of it! i think im gonna change to them this time too......
