My sons mate has just bought a 182 non runner to play with, looks pretty tidy. LX05 XLY, Anyone know it on here?

It's got the classic turning over but immobiliser light on problem, when mine did this it was the earth on the back of the gearbox had snapped if when I'd been messing with the starter motor

Is the battery properly charged? I’d be checking all the earths and that white connector beneath the fuse box

Had this the other day after the battery completely drained itself.
The recovery driver plugged a reader in and cleared the faults and it fired up.

Most electrical issues are caused by that plug or the UCH has water damage

I'm going to guess he only has one but I'll tell him to try
