Anyone tried to organise a group buy on R888's?

There something running on another forum but it seems to be going nowhere, i really want another set! i'd be happy at say £70 a tyre.. ? if i tired to sort something what companys would be best to contact?

You'l be very lucky TBH. I tried to do a group buy on 17 pairs of R888's (GG 195/50/15), so 34 tyres in total. The best Demon Tweeks and Camskill could do was a few quid under £100 each!

Gone are the days of getting 4 X 195/50/15 delivered to your door for £250.
Toyo only supply the major players & prices are regulated.
Think they are cashing in on there success.
I would try other brands as there are some awesome tyres available at reasonable prices.
I like Warren moved away from outright grip as it soon becomes boring, more fun to be had with a playful car on the limits

I doubt il ever buy new R888's, if you know where to look and spend enough time doing it you can get half/part work R888's really really cheap, the last lot I got I paid £10/tyre (205/50/15 GG) that were still just road legal, ive done two trackdays on them and there is still plenty left!
