anyone work for a reno dealer?

can anyone possibly help me out by doing a reg check to see if any work has been carried out on a 172 i'm looking at??

not personnally i work at peugeot what type of work r u thinkin its been thru,

if they worked 4 renault they could only tell you what work had been done if it went through thier dealership.

i would just like to see if its had any work done under warranty / at a reno garage as i'm considering buying it and would like a quick check if poss

If you ring your local stealer with the VIN/Reg they will give you all the details iirc

as said you will have to specify area and dealership and the likely hood of some one working there is pretty small tbh, best bet is a hpi check

^^ I thought all warranty work claims etc went on the main renault syatem .. but I might be wrong .. lol

not sure how it works with renault but at peugeot it doesnt, as dealerships are seperate and run thier own systems. i may be wrong

Renault have a centrailised details log, so all issues and warently work is logged for a car and any dealership can get hold of it.

no but it would tell you if the car had any history

i very nearly bought a 53 reg clio extreme3 with the red interior etc was awesome loved it, left a deposit and went home to get the rest of the cash. HPid it on the way home to find out it was a cat D write off, gutted went back to get my money back and walked away carless

^^ I agree .. it is always best to HPI after you have done the warranty/work checks etc well worth the £40 or however much it is these days
