apex or eibach

  Clio MK 4
apex have 40mm springs eibach have 30mm springs (sportlines)

Which one will give smoother ride? I originally wanted 4mm springs but cant decide

  missmy257bhp r5/ got evo6
apex sit a lot better but eibach ride a lot smoother

apex is such a harsh ride but i buy them as like my car sitting low and they dont handle to bad

  Meg on pistonheads £6995
I'm on Apex 2 and no worries after 45K on original shocks

agree harsh, but 40mm drop looks perfect :)

Get eibachs.

black kro, do u get a better drop than a 1.2-1.6 due to being heavier?? or is there not much diff,

i have eibach prolines and have a drop of 45mm on the front and about 40mm on back . might go to 60mm

eibach if you dont want to spoil the cars handling at high speeds.

you should never just use the lowering figure to sway your choice in springs, i'd go for a much more controllable car that sits 10mm higher any day.

damn lol i want it to be obvious its been lowered slightly and from sounds of it apex is better option. but i dont want the harsh ride as i was sick of it from my old car.

but i loooove low cars lol

Apex are harsher, but are cheaper and lower nicely.

Eibach are smoother ride, but cost more and often don't quite sit as low as they claim.

why cant people make low looking springs that have smooth ride lol. would be between two. didnt want to spend as much as coilovers

  Ph1
Apex arnt that hard, its just some folk are pansies ;)

Iv turned the Konis up a notch because the suspension felt too soft with the Apex and im not a 'boy racer' either ! lol

Depend on how hard you drive and what you accept though I gave up on stock I wasn't happy after 50k ish on stock springs. Don't expect apex would have lasted anywhere near that long.

You pay the money for the best of both orlds realy. and you have to pay a lot (its cheap realy but a lot as an amont of money as such)

Because suspension expensive to get right

I went through the same thing a while ago, decided to stick with the eibachs. Many negative comments about the apex

  Clio MK 4
hmmm lol. i think i'm swaying towards eibach. my gf would kill me if it was a really harsh ride as thats one of reasons why she HATED my old car lol

I am female and hated my apex, looked fantastic but the handling was gash especially on track.

  Clio MK 4
ye I couldnt go long distances with my old car as it rattled so much and was so bumpy. I think if my gf was to finish me it would have been over my old car lol. I did have 60mm fk coilovers lol so not great quality.
