Ever since I've had my Clio the sensor for the auto lights has not been properly stuck onto the window. As it's in the trim surround, the surround is resting against the rear view mirror, so it isn't dangling everywhere.
However it's been annoying me for ages. So I've tried to stick it back onto the window. I've tried 2 tubes of mirror bonding glue for sticking rear view mirrors back onto glass. No success. I've also tried the Richbrook sticky pads that are used for the tax disc holders. Again, to no avail.
What will work?! It's obviously the metal being stuck onto the glass. What would be used if the windscreen had been replaced and they had to be re-attached?
