probably inspect it for condition and make sure the tensioner moves freely. Tempting to just change the lot for peace of mind though really. Tensioners seize up from lack of use quite often so low miles isnt an indication
Ah yea, sorry didnt read the three years properly.
Just make sure its mot cracking and like dan said check the pulley and if all ok should be happy driving for a while
yeh i thought that, just wasnt sure weather the 3 year thing maybe be because the rubber breaks down over time no matter what the milage the car is used everyday, it just doesnt go very far, 4 miles a day tops

it's primarily for the condition of the belt, but the bearings in the lower idler are particulary vulnerable as it sits down low and gets wet and dirty from the road. The tensioner can seize as I said, and the tensioner pulley can be damaged by clumsy fitting previously. I remove no end of tensioers that have chunks missing and I can only assume they were damaged when the last belt was fitted
