Some great shots there. I tried taking some near Loch Lochy in Scotland last year, but they didn't come out anywhere near as good as these!

Great stuff, you had a perfect day off for the light as well. Been itching to get some squirrel shots for ages, love them.

Great photos m8...what cam is that? Getting my 450D on Sat and will be no doubt down to the Park if it is sunny having a play lol

Without sounding stupid is it worth signing up for a filckr account and is it better than a normal photobucket account?

Cheers

Personally Chris I'd say yes, especially if you want to gain a bit of exposure. I have both Flickr and PB as the basic Flickr account only allows 100Mb of uploads per month.

I use PB for hosting and Flickr to upload my favourite photos. In a way the limit is a good thing as it pushes you to cut out the rubbish! The quality of the photos on Flickr is always better like-for-like than PB, I don't know how they do it.

To me Flickr feels a lot more professional and diverse compared to PB. It's good to add people as contacts (eg. people from CS etc.) and see what they're taking photos of and also to use the Explore feature.

I shall end by saying I'm jealous of you getting a 450D :)

flickr is great - even pro membership is about $20 a year - unlimited uploads.

Pics above were all taken with the D90 and Sigma 70-200mm f2.8. I've had mixed results with it do far - wide open at 200mm its pretty soft, stop it down a bit and it improves 100%. Its not the sharpest or longest lens for the money (i got mine for a bargain) and weighs a facking ton! My arm was aching after carrying it round for an hour.
