Bad mapping

I picked up a 172 on the weekend.
On the way home the emissions light came on, it has a decat so thought it had something to do with that, but it's very lumpy on idle (more than normal), and quite a potent smell of petrol coming from the exhaust.
After reading a few threads on here I'm now thinking it can be the map.
what sort of damage could Over fuelling cause? i don't think the garage that mapped it generally deals with clios.

Little bump on this
Issues were cam timing and the map
the timing has been sorted and installed the rs tuner map
Runs pretty sweet
Oh and whipped out the carbon canister, this was why the eml light was present.

It was mapped by the previous keeper
in Scotland somewhere
