Bad running... Lambda?

Since I bought my 182 a couple of weeks ago, it has always had a slight hunt on idle. I have read people say it is perfectly normal for these to have a slightly lumpy idle, but it just doesn't feel as smooth as I'd like it to be.
Anyway, last couple of days, I have noticed when the car is cold, that when I go to pull off, the first few seconds it can be a bit hesitant. Difficult to describe, but almost as if it has almost run out of a petrol, and a bit jerky. This can last seconds basically, then it clears and it is absolutely fine. But the hunt on idle will still be there. No dash lights ever come on.
Just wondering if the two issues (idle and cold issues) are linked? Possible one of the Lambda's is foobared?
Cheers
