badge painting ideas?

hey, my cars going in for respray friday/sat and ive seen a couple of cars on here with the renault badges colour coded or done black, i quite liked the look of them,
not sure what to do though if i want them doing same colour as car it's best done with the rest but black i can get done anytime.

can anyone post some pics of colour coded and black badges to help me out a bit?
