Bass Tubes

  Suzuki SV1000S

Now that I have decided to sell my 15" Rockford because it is too big, I have decided to look for something a little smaller.

I am not looking for massively loud bass, but want a reasonable amount, and I have seen a 12" JBL bass tube for sale it is a JBL CTX-3000, has anyone heard one of these or knows what they are like.

looks quite big imo. depends on what kind of music u listen to i suppose. garage, drum n bass, hip hop i expect a ported 12"+ is idea, but trance, speed garage, rock, metal i rekon a sealed sub of 10"- is better.

Thats what i have, 2x10" sealed, bit more of a punchy bass.

but that jbl looks good. wont be as bassy as a 15", but would still give the windows a good pounding if u know what i mean ;)

Lol, yeah.cheers matey. still have to sell my 15" first or maybe find out a way of fitting it into a smaller space muhaha

i have one of the JBL BTX-250 subs (two 10") i think it sounds pretty good, gives off plenty of bass to keep with the rest of my system

just realised that that bass tube is too big, Think I am going to wait for a bit and get a 10" solo-baric with a stealth box.

dont get a solobaric, they are completely sh*te

spend a little more and get some quality in there

if you like i could design and build a box for you to fit in the side of the boot, that way you can spend more on a sub
