Bent, what do u mean bent!

Ha ha! they look like the KA ones we bent when the timing chain snapped at 6500 rpm over the stage finish in the forest of dean!!

But the cam was in 3 pieces also and that wasnt good either.

What happened then mate???

lol..........the ol endura eh!

thats what i hate about the old crossflow design, changing heads etc is so easy, but change the cam!!!!! god , out comes the engine.

You running a simplex or duplex chain?

I dont know which to use, its on a 1760 running a 234-244 cam, 41.3 BVH, std ratio titan roller tip rockers anda 10.5:1 CR.

the Duplex would be safer, but i HATE the offset woodruff key system, and the simplex vernier would make life so easy. Not seen a proper duplex vernier yet.

As for that head, a simple cambelt failure. not too much damage at all, jsut the valves and a skim needed, but i am concerned about the cam bearings, there is a edge on the exhaust cam bearing # 2. Need to see if it can be line honed.

No mate theres nothing wrong with it as its just the metal contracting and expanding under heat!..LOL....But I will have to charge you for looking at it ;)

Just hammer them back in making sure you dont damage them. It doesnt matter which way up you put them in. Please send a cheque BenR for £750 to cover my costs; Thanks!
