Mine is standard 1.2 so a shameful 75bhp

You'll probs not get huge gains in bhp on a 1.2 (though other 1.2 owners may prove me wrong!)

I put on a k&n panel filter today and although I can almost guarnatee this does not yield a bhp increase, it certainly feels more responsive and sounds a lot nicer. Feels faster as I am more inclined to put my foot down now!

think there is one guy on here with a mk1 1.2 (65bhp) and is at about 80bhp

the best gain for a 1.2 is to sort the chassis
brakes, suspension ect.
it 'll make you faster on a point to point

RR arn't that accurate realy with calaulating power but Freds car was dynoed at88hp which was the most powerful 1.2 I think on the site a few more people had 82 or there about with exhaust and IK.
Freds car just had a load of miles on it and an exhaust cat was still in place and an induction kit.

interesting, why and how did you fit the FSE???

i got just short of 90 with my old one, where isn ur mani from, what is it 4-2-1 or ?? i take it u have a return pipe on the fule lines to fit the fse? as onlyt a small number did, most have the 2 lines not the 3

i dont know anything about the fse i bought it and got mi mate to fit it. its got a ss manifold and a pipe going straight to the backbox, no cat

you cant achieve any gains from a stainless manifold on a 1.2 16v, i looked into it a lot and spoke to some very experienced people who all said no point (including charlie at pro speed)

I'm gonna get mine dyno'd soon with a stealth system, sports cat, and viper so will let you know the results. Hoping for around 5 bhp on standard
