if you look at the 5700 thats what they wanted for it.... which is pretty pricey imho...

whole point of places like that is that they offer real bargains.....

No offence taken, lol i think i'm starting to agree with you.

I would have thought that the phase1 172 with 50k is worth every bit of £4500 (as long as it is good with FSH etc) plus a little extra £££ for the yellas

everyone loves the yellow ;)

i dropped on with mine. paid £4,600 on 54k, but its pretty much mint. or will be soon i should say. but its got 9months warranty, 12months mot and tax etc. so i think its a fair price especially for a yellow one.

not so sure if i'd deliberately pay more for a yellow one though.

There a normal silver on the trader at the moment for £3.3k with 50k

That may be the case but dont mean it is a good one. I looked at a few ranging from 34k to 72k, the cheapest was £3700 and was a dog one was £4800 and was good but had 60odd K.

Going by the lowest price in trader dont mean all are worth that as there is so many dogs out there. I would say the average price'd ones will give you the market price, i would say that the average price for a goodish one is £4200-£4700

You regulaly see them up for £~3.5k though.

yeah but you regually see crap ones which i think will be the ones for 3.5k. Obviously there are often bargins out there.

I doubt anyone with a tidy low millage, FSH, not many owners etc with all the belts changed would let one go for £4k

As I said when I was looking for one 2 months ago, it seemed the ones for 4k plus would have gone by the time i called up to look where as the lower priced ones tend to sit around for longer. End of the day people dont want dogs when they can spend more and get a good'n

in short, go have a look at the cheap'ns and in general they will be cheap for a reason then go look at the others and I am sure you would see why they are more expensive.

I looked at a W plate for £3700 which had done 55k with claimed FSH but it had not had its cam belt done which is £500, the zorst was blowing and it was due a service, as well as the service book being stamped up but not to the schedual, ie service for 24k was done and 30k and it was 6 months late.

If I had brought that one I would have had to spend £3700 for the car plus £500 for belts plus service so would not have much change from buying a minter for £4500 in the first place
