Bloody X Box Live

I bought an old x box so i could play my mates on the "live" system.

Bought a gold membership pack to find that can only be used on 360 system.

Nice waste of £40.

Anyone know where i can get membership card for the old box?

Well i hooked the web cable up to the xbox. Accessed the subscription bit and entered the long code on the card. It then said "technical diff etc" so i checked my connections and everything appeared ok. Called X Box helpline and the girl seemed new as she kept putting me on hold. She tells me that you can use old membership cards on the 360 but you cant use the new goldmembership cards on the old xbox. I pleaded with them to find my code, vioid it, then give me a compatable one but they told me to Foxtrot Oscar.
