Bluetooth question.

Why won't my iPad or iPhone find each other when searching? Both Bluetooth set to on so what am I not doing?

It's not that kind of Bluetooth. It's only to link to devices like earpieces or Parrot in the car.

What are you trying to do?
If you are looking to share your 3G connection from your phone with your iPad you need to activate bluetooth on both devices and then switch on the personal hotspot on the phone. They will then connect but only for that purpose. You can't share music and photos over bluetooth.
