Questions, how old is it, what did he pay, what mpg do they get, do they go wrong?

Looking for a cheap power barge atm and ebays full of old 330d's for cheap money.

Like that although probably the only car I've ever seen wearing CH's which I am not 100% sure about.

53 plate, I think he paid £4500 for it and the mpg is late 30s I believe.

I was thinking a VAG 1.9 TDI 130, remap gets 160 with 300 foot pounds, you can get FSH ones with belts and leather for under £1500, it's for my Mum anyway, although I might blag a go every now and again to take the dog out, basically i'm buying her a car I wouldn't mind driving.

That's in great shape for an E46, you'd expect holes where the wings should be by now. Looks lovely, I like the CH's on it [emoji1303]

The car cost so much as it had 88k miles on it with good service history. It had 2 new front wings on before i got it and i had the other minor bits or rust sorted when i picked it up.

Mpg is early 40, but on a long motorway run its mid 50s!

Do they go wrong? No not really. Auto boxes can do if you dont catch it early. Theres 2 solonoids that need replacing at circa 100k miles. I got a good one and replaced the solonoids with the updated items along with new filter and oil and will be good for another 100k miles or more!

Only thing that can go wrong is egr valve, swirl flaps and the thermostats! 3 on the auto but only 2 on the manuals
