Bonnet catch

My bonnet requires two people to open one to lift the catch and one to lift the bonnet now i know if i take it to renault they will oil the catch spring but thats something different will they fix this?

anyone?Or will it pop up if i grease the big spring?

I greased mine up. That's what they'll do at Renault because of the recall or if you're lucky they might replace the mechanism.

If it's got rust on it and you take it to Reno, they will fit a new one for free.
