boot smoothing

i have started to smooth my boot but it looks odd with only my key hole to open the boot, what would i need to be able to open the boot from inside the car so i can smooth it all off.??

Its possible to rewire it. So say when you click your rear wiper itl pop the boot. Tis what i have on mine.
