Brake Problems!

Hi,

Im new to Clio Sport.

Just a quick question.

When the brakes on my 182 are warm and been used hard, there is a scrubbing noise comming from what appears to be the brakes. Anyone have any ideas to what this could be?

Check your pad thickness and also that the pads are free to move within the carrier. Remember they expand when hot, so should be about 1mm movement.

cheers m8. it only happens when really really hot. i was thinking about getting new brakes, drilled and groved? would this help?

Are they OEM pads?

get some uprated pads... brembo / EBC

The reason I asked is because if they're renault OEM pads, there isn't much reason for them to be scrubbing/squeeling. If there were more agressive track pads then you expect it.

Most likely the pads are low on material.
