Brake question.

Quick question. Will the servo work if the engine isn't running just with the ignition on? Thinking of towing another clio but the engine doesn't run.

My leg? Erm, I suppose I could push it, but it would be a bloody long push back. :rasp:

tow it as normal and press the brake pedal, you need to push it a bit harder but unless your a cripple you can stop it fine.

Ah. So it will react like a car without a servo. That's ok I suppose as long as I can keep the preasure on. (Have a problem with Arthritis). I might have to consider something else being as it it quite a way to tow it. (it's in essex and I'm in Surrey).

It can be a bit dodgy with no servo even pressing the brake hard if your being towed on a rope , you might need to use the handbrake a bit

why not spend 20 quid and get a tow bar inr=stead of a rope, ddon't need to even use the brtakes then.

It is illegal to tow with a rope now.
