Brake suggestions

  182 ff
Hi,

I'm going to be needing some new pads and discs all round soon and was wondering what do people suggest getting?

I have a standard 182 and will hopefully be doing the odd track day next year so want something a step or two up from the standards.

Cheers,

BBoy.

Performance Friction 97 Race spec pads
Ferodo DS2000/2500 fast road/track pads
Pagid fast road pads
Pagid blue (race spec?) pads

are all good pads as I understand it.

Brembo Max discs are good value, last well and seem to be resistant to fade but many swear by standard discs.

Personally, I've got the Pagid Blues with Brembo Max (supplied by Yozzasport) and I luuuurve them :approve:

We don't do the "max" disc for the 172/182's, only the Brembo GrpN plain disc, but its the best we've found

i wouldn't use the PF97's if you only occasionally do track days as they're too harsh for the road, go for Ferodo DS2500 instead

e-mail Yozzasport@gmail.com for prices

I've got an identical setup: DS2500 and grp N pads.

Do as Fred says, and you'll be very pleased!

PS You might as well get some goodridge braided hoses while you're at it.
