Broken passenger window - how to replace?

  Renault Clio 2.0 172
Hi all. I am a newbie so here goes my first posting. I need help with a problem. I have just acquired a 2002 Clio sport 2.0 which is in a bit of a state, mostly very dirty and unloved. I am hoping to re-juvinate it and and give it some well deserved TLC. One of the main things is that the previous owner could not get into the car due to a flat battery and so took a hammer to the passenger door glass to get in, I need to replace the glass. I have bought a window from a breakers yard and now need to fit it. I have removed the door card and now I am not sure how to fit the glass, any help or advice would be appreciated.

Thank you all.

When I get it looking right I will post some pictures.

I had to do this a while back to fit a new window. If memory serves you need to pull all the horizontal trim off where the window dispaears into the door to give you enough wiggle room to drop the window in. Once it's in you need to find the little plastic clip with a sticky out bit which sits on the rail which moved the window up and down. At the bottom of the window you will see a round hole. Fit the sticky out bit through this, bung the window seal bits back on and give it a try. Worst case the regulator or associated bits of plastic will be shagged and you will have to buy a new one or new bits e.g.
