Bthomehub packed in?

I reset my homehub last night and after a reset i couldnt get onto the net, router said it was fine but laptop just wouldnt connect and if it did it would get the internet connection but i still could not access the internet.

After restarting the router and laptop various times i gave up assuming it was a problem at there end. Tried again this morning - nothing and when i just got home half hour ago - nothing.

Iphone will connect to it but still no internet access.

Just put my old 2wire router back in and all is good, its deffo a problem with the router, anyone had this problem?

I had problems with mine a while back, they sent me a new one.

mine actually broke completely... call them n say you want a new 1 they cant charge u

As said above, they are rebadged Thomson units, and are made to a budget...they fail miserably. Call BT to raise a fault call, speak to 'Peter' in India...tell him whats not happening, then refuse to close the call until they send you out a new one!

I was getting 3.5mb with BT, there customer service was aload of s**t, even when i asked them for my mac address he tried agruing with me telling me just coz o2 are cheaper dont mean there service is as good, i went tbh i think your service is s**t so can i please have my mac code, he then carried on telling me what he could offer me, at this point im laughing to my self and now up for an arguement,..

I was bored phone call was free so i gave him grief, made him questions his skills, he wanted remote access to my laptop, so he was telling me to put some pin in i put it in rong everytime just to make he get annoyed... at this point i was just making him angry, i then escalted the call with his manager, he said the fault on my internet (really slow) will be fixd within 4 hours... i said thats not good enough...

I was bored, i cancelled, i laughed, i went with o2... 7mb

^^ lol sounds like you had a blast , oh yea im a computer wizard, so i know the crack etc etc. im just dreading ring them and "geoff" in india saying try this "i have" ok try this "i have" well how about, ffs how about you just get me a new f**king router. id say thats roughly how the call would go

i had same problem.. i called and said replace it or we will change phone and internet.. they gave us free router and the engineer came to install it for free too..


pity my fooking skys dead now hay?
