bucket seats - how easy to fit?

  Tangoed Works
Piece of piss, 4 bolts out, unclip airbag connectors. Attach new seat to subframe and seatbelt clip, 4 bolts in. Got mine done free whilst having my 24k service done its that easy.

i'd dissconnect the battery too... (seatbelt pre-tensioners)
Bolts are at underneath the car. Two rubber caps nearest the sills (deep 13mm socket needed) and the other two are under the exhaust heat sheild near the handbrake assembly

repeat for both sides

yep, nice and easy, just dont take them out till you have the correct replacment bolts before you do, bit of a ball ache puttin one back in just to go fetch the right ones! lol, voice of experience speaking there!!

cool thanks everyone!
now what seats have u lot got? any pics? im thinking black leather n suade?????

Easy peasy, but DONT use generic B&Q/Hombase etc bolts. They're soft as cheese and will shear off. You need strengthened ones unless you fancy a messy and avoidable death.

heres a pic of mine, so you get an idea

Have a look on Demon Tweeks for Cobra Imola S bucket seats in the Kevlar composite.

I also have the 5mm Alloy side mounts - not the normal 4mm steel ones ;)
