Cage padding for road use?

What do people use in their track cars and for road use? For a dedicated race or track car I'd use the FIA spec stuff, but I worry it might do more harm than good on the road?

Cheers!

use the fia stuff on the road its worse as you won't have a helmet on if you happen to be in a shunt and hitting your head on it would not be great .

the density of the fia stuff is correct as to not cause a brain injury , pip lagging as some use is s**t , don't use that , it might seem ok in a light shunt but then its the type of shunt when the chips are down that it all makes a difference .

brain injuries are not to be messed with .

Yeah I just worry that the FIA stuff will mess your head up without the helmet. Its designed for pretty high speed crashes with a helmet on, which without a helmet will kill you regardless, I just worry that in a lower speed crash it may do more harm than good.

Car dashboards pass a similar head impact test , how hard are they ? They are hard enough to absorb the right amount of energy to sustain the least injury.
