Cambelt mileage?

Just a quick answer needed please. What mileage are cambelts's due for change on an 2002 reg 1.2 16v....????

5years or 72000miles (renault forget to mention that the water pumps start leaking at 60,000 and need replacing at the same time)

not expensive, £150 all in max

I've just had mine done on my 1.4 at Matt Black's Renault Specialist in Accrington, if you're in the NW. Had Timing belt, Water pump and Fan belt all done together and it was £235 all in. Mine was overdue at 5 and a half years old but only late 50'sK mileage. Very pleased. Great service very helpful and you are safe in the knowledge that someone who knows what they are doing is working on your car. Was a 40min drive for me but IMO worth it as they're all numptys at the garages round here.

Unfortunately, I'm in Kent in the South East. At £235 all in, that's really good value. I can't agree more, it's much nicer to know your car is in good hands for the time it's being worked on. Im on 34k miles at the moment, by the time I get to 36k the service will come 1st I think, that's if I still have it as I'm trying to sell up.
