Can anyone give me a solution/advice with my annoying problem. Recently when starting my clio in the morning there is a whining/screaching noise (pretty loud) when I start driving, the noice increases with the revs in every gear. However when my car is warmed up to the point where you can boot it the noise seems to disappear. My father says it may be the drive belt or the cam belt ( although this was changed at 70,000 car is now on 97,000). Can anyone help me please as renault near me want £150 just to have a look at the car!
