i never resize the wheels... ive got a folder here with over 60 in which i did last time :)

arghh! my eyes! I've been staring at the squashed one for too long. The car in the "real" picture has started to look stupidly long :S

Neat bit of photoshopping though.:cool:

Its not an exact science, but i basically use the lasso tool to draw round and take a copy of the front and back wheels (usually including a bit of the wheel arch).

Then resize the original picture so it stays the same height as the original but reduce the width by about a third, giving you your squished car.

Then just paste the wheels back in from the copies you took earlier, ideally onto new layers to help blending them in later. Position the wheels roughly in the right spot, then its a case of blending them in so that it looks right, which is down to you really.
 
While attemptng to squash my own car I invented the Clio Limo-Sport :cool: Just needs the rear windows tinting, but I can't work out how to do that without it looking pants.
