can you connect to xbox live without a router?

at a gues yes if he`s on broadband router with a network card connection

other wise ud need a pc with network card and a rj45 crossover cable , and then link both connections within windows

yeah you can plug it into a router or a modem or do connection sharing with a pc but doing that means you have to have your pc on whenever you want to go online with the xbox which tbh is a load of w**k lol
