Can you do 4x50W into 2 speakers??

Probably a really daft quetion, but if you have a H/U giving 4 x 50X and you connect these outputs to a pair of speakers, what happens???

erm prob not a good idea cus u are trying to 'bridge' the outputs on the head unit, which they aint designed to do!

Yeah same as above, bridging head units is generally not recommended.

Ah right, just an idea, I've got some Vibe SA50 comps (to put in at some point!!), I think they're 90W RMS and was just thinking of a way round running them from an amp. Idea was to run them off the H/U and get an active sub in hte boot, the easy option! Will think of a new plan....

I believe you could run a feed to each driver, just send the HF feed through the crossover.....

easy peasy with an alpine unit that is a 9813 or better into a set of comps
