Car in gear and won't move

Started the car this morning clutch felt a bit heavy and wouldn't bite , the car just revs , I even seen reverse lights come on . Previously had no issues with clutch slipping etc, could it be a possibly be the cv clips I had refilled with grease and clipped few weeks ago ?

Does the speedometer go up if you try and drive it?

The car doesn't move for me to see if speedo goes up . At one point I did think it was about to engage as car slightly rolled but there was no bite

It's hard to explain this lol when you go to the car and try to drive it as normal like 1st gear release the clutch ect does the speedo go up but the car doesn't move?

The speedo question is being asked to identify where the fault might lie
If the speedo goes up but no drive its likely to be output related eg drive shafts diff etc.
If the speedo does not rise its likely its input related as the box isnt being turned by the engine and you would be looking at the clutch area.
Hope that explains it in a bid to help give you more of a pointer to your issue
