Car Randomly Cut out

Was driving my car just, Picking my mom up from work, When i hit a very minor bump in the road, Every light on the dash came on, The stereo went off, And the car went into a sort of limp mode where the car vibrated and wouldnt accelerate! I pushed the accelerator to the floor and nothing happened!

I Pulled over and turned the car off and Turned it back on, and it ws fine but my petrol gauage (its an 04 Dynamique 1.2 16v with the digital dash) had 2 bars less than it did before it cut out I know I had bars lit up as I was thinking whilst waiting in the car park for my mom to finish how many miles each bar worked out so I remember I had 5 bars lit up, and when I restarted the car I had 3?

Any ideas whats happened here?

check the ecu cover panel then get the car on a computer if that isn't the issue the faults should be logged

Where is the cover panel? I've also been told my MPG is shocking despite i drive very normal? I rarely get over 30mpg average over a t ank, All the roads I go on are 30mph zones and I do shortish journeys but aparently I should be getting more?

have you changed wheel size or anything like that?

i found that going from 15's to 17's i need to drive extremely carefully to scrape 41mpg when i just used to sonter and get 43+++

its on the back of the engine a rattley metal cover

30mpg isn't that bad depends how short journeys are and how far out the speedo is
