What you guys using in your cars?

Magic trees don't last long enough for me and don't smell that great.

Yeah I've used opies one before. Have you seen what happens when the opie oils falls off the mirror onto your plastic trim?

Is it just a case of it adds a smell for a day or so?

What's the best California scent out there?

It lasts a few weeks but you only need a quick squirt. I can't see me getting through this can in the next year. And that's using on two cars.

The California car scents last months. Even when you stop smelling it it's still there.

I love the cherry one.

As above the car scent pots by California brand are epic. Cherry one is regarded the best but I've just bought a "shasta strawberry" I'm loving that! Getting sick of my car smelling like a cherry bakewell 24/7.

But I also keep a bottle of Chemical Guys fragrances in the rear side pocket. (For either when im picking someone important up (; or I've done the dirtiest fart in my seat) The cherry one smells amazing but I just bought a grape one and that's 20x better than cherry.

The bottle says spray it once but I go mental with it. Smells lovely for 2 whole days then I either get used to it so it goes away but then other people can smell it instantly a good week or so later.. So it's just a case of your nose getting used to it.

I'm assuming you never open the doors lol. We use this in work, a day or two at most. We would use before a test drive or when the car is getting collected. Never considered having a bottle for personal use. Also I found those California scents no where near as good as some make out. I roll with magic tree black ice.

You mean old spice not black ice

I've tried about 8 California scents.... Cherry is the best for longevity by far! Nice smell too. I had some that were pathetic, ran out in a week or 2! You'd think they'd all last similar time being the same brand.

Pineapple lasts well too. I might try the grape scent after the recommendation.

Agree on the cali scents. I've had people comment 6 months after opening a cherry one in the car. Never known an air freshener to last so we'll. I haven't bought any other since 2010.

Stripper scent is the most over rated product I've ever known. Smells weird in a bad way and doesn't last long, though that's a good thing

Sex wax and slims coco lemon for me

There still isn't a burning rubber car freshener. Or a Castrol R one.

This makes me sad.

I've got Black Forest magic trees in mine, under the seats where the vents are.

Must have had a crap batch then
Maybe bought the wrong scent one? As I said, I had a few that lasted next to no time! I'm sure coconut was a s**t one....
Cherry lasts forever! My Pineapple did too...so much so, after I had it in the car for a few months I replaced it, put the used Pineapple one in my digger.
Anyone who came up to my digger to chat etc always said "why the hell does your digger smell of Pineapple?! " lol! That was about 7 months after purchase

Lol, I'm not mad, I'm sure.

A mate got me a can from his auto smart rep, it just lives in the boot and gets a squirt every now and then.

Which California scents have you been using? The few that I've had an experience with have gone on for ages

There's 2 sorts of Cali scent

A gel and blocks of wood. One lasts longer than the other, gel is best iirc but then you get bored of the scent lol

For people that don't rate the Cali scents, as said in my first post, make sure you get the 'extreme' ones. They're the ones with the gel stuff in them rather than the blocks and are sooooo much better!
