Sounds like a 50/50, but if you was reversing out for quite some time, and the guy trys to pull into his space and you colide, i'd put that down to him for not waiting until you was out of the space.

the car park was icey and slushy but that madem no impact really
i think it was him just being impatient and rushing to get in
it was a honda company car also and as im only 17 thinks he can just like do what he wants as hes older so hes obviously right
when i dont no if he is
my mate in the car says it was him
2 onlookers said 5050
just keen to know as my insurance wont be too nice next year if it goes my way

That's one impatient driver who can't be bothered to wait. It's 50:50 though imo, used to work in a car park and had something like this everyweek. We had smaller spaces than the council car parks too which made it harder. (i also had a woman threaten to sue me as she suede shoes got wet in 'one of our puddles' lol)

50/50 let him worry about his damage. Your mates biased obviously but if the guy presses just let him know you do have a favourable witness. Dont let him push you, insist it was his fault dont back off. Be firm but not agressive. He will get the message eventually.............Then play your WHIPLASH card. tee hee.

Being my everyday job, Motor Claims - I would suggest this one go through as a 50/50.

Both of you should have stopped but didnt! Lose half your excess job done, try and settle out of the insurance companies though, cheaper ;)

You oviously weren't looking properly while you reversed. No way he could drive into you. Impatient or not, he was behind you and you backed into him. Harsh but fair IMO.

He should of been more patient.Dont admit liability until youve spoken to your insurance

Or.Tell him you will pay the £80 it cost per panel at chipsaway or something

Up to you

Had something like this happen to me, some old matey pulled out while I was driving along (he pulled out from a junction onto a main road and basicly didnt accelerate quick enough!!) and i had to swerve around him, damaged my front left wing and scraped the back corner of his. He tried to blame me as i was young and went into the back of him when he full well knew that he pulled out without looking, especially as he could have waited 2 seconds and slotted in behind me as no other cars were behind me!

Basicly dont let the old guy try to blame you as your young stick to your story and try and get a 50:50 out of it or for it to be settled out of insurance.
