i posted about a noise coming from my car like a drowning noise ppl sed its probs me bearing but after further investigation i fink its me drive shaft its rattelin when i shake it the part that goes into me gearbox i had it on the ramp in work and wen i jiggle it about its makin a knockin noise but thers also a noise coming from the bearing on the driverside so think i need to replace both any1 know ruffly how much am lookin at for a drive shaft from the scrappy or a brand new 1 any help is gr8 thanks

Shafts from a scrappie £20~40

Halfords etc £50 or so on refurb exhacnage basis.

Front bearings say 1.5hours work so £60~£90 labout £10 for the part you can remove the hub etc yourself so if you can get to a gargae with a press they'll chnage you say £5~10 to push a new bearing in them you can reassemble the hub again.
