CD CHANGER

Can i add a CD changer to my standard cup headunit?????????/

Yes but itll have to be one of the Renault Alpine or VDO ones.

Not forgetting the cable is £86. I wish Id not bothered buying the cable to put my old 172 one in the 182, I should have just bought a new HU. LOL

i have heard that the cable should allready be under the seat , probably best that i jus go and have a look really !

Not usually mate, if the changer is specified when the car is built they install the cable over the top of the dash, otherwise there is no cable in place.

I took the changer out of my 172 and had to buy a cable to install it in the 182.

Does anyone know if standard (non Renault) Alpine changers work with the clio head unit? Alpine do a nice CD/MP3 changer CHA-S634 which I fancy. Says its Ai-NET or M-Bus compataible, but will it work with the clio head init?

mine was de;aer fitted, presume wire runs around back of the dash into headunit?
