CD player problem - Help!!

Hey, ive got a 56 plate Clio Dynamique
The Date an time display stays on even when the car is off and locked and the CD player does not work even though the on light is on.
Any one know how to solve this/ know what the problem is?

saw this searching for something else.

Your stereo is knackered and you will have it replaced under warranty. Same happened to me a month ago and the dealer said they have replaced over 50 of them within the month. The excuse he gave was the 'cold snap' that was happening at the time!
