I can't figure out what I've done wrong.
I removed the gearstick surround and moved the cigarette lighter, hazard switch etc into a new place so now it's like this
i removed the airbag ecu, then hid the rest of the wiring behind the dash. I also removed the side impact sensors.
So the hazard switch works, the lock/unlock buttons works, the lighter works but the immobiliser light does not work at all. The car starts and drives no problem.
The key no longer activates the central locking. It can't be a coincidence but I replaced the battery anyway. The light on the key flashes perfectly.
So what the hell have I done wrong? It was all fine before I messed with it.
I tried holding the in car lock button for 5 seconds but the led does not go red like it's supposed to.
Should I try disconnecting the battery for a bit?
